The Social Committee will plan and execute social events for the general membership.  It should work toward sparking member interest and maintaining member involvement in the community.  The Committee will work with the other Association committees to publish and distribute notices of events and survey members to determine their social interests.  The Committee is responsible for giving new residents current information on social groups and activities in the neighborhood.  A warm welcome can create a sense of identity with and responsibility to their new community.
